Bridget grew up in Otara, South Auckland. She was the youngest in her family. Everyone always says that the youngest is the spoiled child, but no one was spoiled in Bridget’s family. Fast forward time, Bridget has published books on healthy eating and wellness, building a large community of online fans.
Bridget has been head chef for Bill Granger and has appeared on the Oprah Show and Good morning America where she scrambled eggs for Bill. She has worked alongside some of the worlds best chefs including Tetsuya Wakuda and Marco Pierre White and is regularly called upon as a brand ambassador and keynote speaker for Google.
Bridget has spoken at TEDx on food and social media and has amassed a social following of hundreds of thousands across her various social media platforms.
Bridget now runs her own business as a food and travel writer, recipe developer, cookbook author and presenter. In May of this year, her cookbook Breakfast around the world was awarded the prestigious World Gourmand cookbook award and named the best breakfast cookbook in the world for 2018. Bridget has written 4 cookbooks with her third cookbook Bridget's Healthy Kitchen, self-published and selling out in 6 weeks. Bridget's Healthy Kitchen also made the Amazon Kindle bestsellers list in 3 days.
Bridget's fourth cookbook, MORE from Bridget's Healthy Kitchen is due for release in November 2019 with Bridget now an advocate and spokesperson for healthy living and a healthy lifestyle based around diet. She lost 30 kgs in 5 1/2 months by using her understanding as a chef of flavours, textures and recipe development to create hundreds of healthy recipes that are helping people all over the world to get healthy for life. Her cookbooks and online presence has become a global sensation as Bridget leads from the front by promoting a healthy, accessible lifestyle through delicious food that can change peoples lives.
